Today, I’ve baked Banana Bread with Chocolate and Walnut, using Donal Skehan’s recipe again! When I made Banana and Chocolate Bread using the same recipe last time, it was very moist and had a great consistency with chocolate. Here’s the post from last time – Week 98: Hard work pays off.
I’ve added walnuts to the dough, and extra banana and nuts on the top, and baked it in a square tin. (Yes, it turned out a little bit heavy and took 60 minutes to bake.)
This banana bread is nutty and moist as usual and has a wonderful flavour. Personally, I might prefer ‘banana and chocolate’ bread without walnuts, which is simpler and can feel more bread texture, but Luca loves this. We’ll enjoy this for our weekend snack!
